You’ve come up through the ranks of Sunday School classes, or maybe you moved here from out of town; you got confirmed at the beginning of 9th grade, and now you’re officially an adult member of the church. What’s next?

High school youth are welcome at every level of involvement at TCLC. Youth sing in choir, play handbells, and teach Sunday School. They turn up at property work days to help spread bark mulch or paint classrooms. Youth read the lessons during worship and serve as communion assistants. They mow the lawn and shovel walks. Anything you find older adults doing at church, you find youth alongside.

Now all the youth are in the tree together smiling.

There are, however, additional opportunities especially for TCLC youth. Like the youth, TCLC’s youth program is constantly growing and changing according to the interests of its youth and the support of interested adult volunteers.
